Focus iRacing Window

The Focus iRacing Window feature shifts focus to the iRacing window before sending any commands. This ensures that actions reach iRacing and are not lost to another application.

When to Use

This feature is especially useful if you run iRacing in windowed mode, where another application may have focus when you press a Stream Deck button. Without this feature, actions may not work if iRacing isn’t the active window.

If you run iRacing in fullscreen, this is less of a concern — but enabling it doesn’t hurt.

Enabling It

Focus iRacing Window is a global setting that applies to all iRaceDeck actions — both keyboard-based and SDK-based. Enable it in the Global Settings section of any action’s Property Inspector.

Once enabled, iRaceDeck will bring the iRacing window to the foreground before executing any action.
